After the opening exchanges, Shak had managed to claw himself into the lead ahead of both Kinttala and Dahlberg, as Tedeschi dropped back.
Ozenc Demir was still the shortest stack, and he was eliminated by Kinttala, closing the gap between the Finn and Shak at the top of the pack.
After this elimination, Decourt inherited the position of short stack, but chipped up through Shak to move off the bottom.
Tedeschi Surges into the Lead
If there was a hand that was crucial in Tedeschi's victory, it has to be the elimination of Erik Dahlberg in sixth place.
Tedeschi raised pre-flop and got calls from Joao Vieira and Erik Dahlberg .
The flop checked to Tedeschi who continued for 161,000. Vieira folded and Dahlberg check-raised to 973,000. Tedeschi shoved and Dahlberg called all in for 1.9 million.
The turn was the but the river saw Tedeschi scoop both the high, with an ace-high flush, and the low, with an eight-five, to overtake Shak and move into the lead.

— jack (@jack)Shak would wrestle the chip lead back as Guilherme Decourt was eliminated in fifth after running into the aces of Kinttala. Vieira was now adrift of the pack, with all three of his remaining opponents having three times his stack.
He clung on for a while, but was eventually eliminated by Tedeschi after both players turned two pair, with Vieira outkicked.

Tedeschi had retaken the lead with that elimination, sitting on 5.3 million (76 big blinds) ahead of Shak (4.7 million; 67 big blinds) and Kinttala (4.4 million; 63 big blinds).
A short while later the players looked at the numbers and agreed to a deal that would see Tedeschi take home over $90,000 and awarded the title.
